          Congratulations to those Cub Scouts who participated in this Sunday's show and sell at Lowes in Charlottesville. This was the best one day show and sell in the history of our pack with a total sales of $1040.00.  Scouts on Sunday sold 36 peanut products, 22 popcorn products and collected $180 in "Popcorn for the Troops" donations.  Way to go everyone.

We have one planned Derby car construction clinic scheduled, and likely another just before the main event on January 21.  If we need more, we’ll do them.  Before coming to a clinic, your son should already know and have sketched out what they want the car to look like.  Two hours sounds like a lot of time but it goes quickly.  We’ll want to focus as much as possible on the actual fabrication instead of design.  The goal for the clinics is to get the cars to the point that they can be readily finished at home (paint, etc).
